Separation Sports Group is a full-service sports and entertainment agency combining player management, wealth strategy, brand marketing, and performance expertise. Their mission is simple: to provide athletes and artists with the clarity, structure, and opportunities needed to thrive on and off the field.

My role was to develop a merchandise strategy that aligned with their mission and elevated their brand presence. The goal was to create products that not only generated revenue but also strengthened community engagement, amplified their cultural influence, and extended their identity beyond the game.

Positioning

Designed not just for athletes and artists, but for anyone, the line positions SSG apparel as everyday lifestyle pieces that carry the brand’s disruptive spirit into culture at large. Rather than leaning on traditional team gear, the focus is on versatile essentials that feel at home in streetwear, entertainment, and everyday life.

Art Direction

The approach centered on integrating the brand’s logo icon seamlessly into its messaging, ensuring every visual element reinforced the voice and identity of the brand. Designed to be subtle and unobtrusive, the line is expressed through natural fabrics and neutral colours, chosen so each piece complements any wardrobe, while weaving naturally into the verbiage to create a cohesive, recognizable identity that speaks with clarity and purpose.

Work
